The OLL Access Passes have been popular with all grades, high school students have checked out the most items. Students searching online found primary sources with Encyclopedia Britannica, brushed up on their language skills with Mango Languages, studied for standardized tests with Peterson’s Test Prep, discovered their next favorite book with Novelist, and reviewed Library-created InfoGuides for book and website recommendations. From the ClassLink portal, students accessed the Osceola Library System’s resources over 70,000 times during the 23 school years. The OLL Access Pass gave students access to the Library’s resources in the classroom or media center, as well as in their free time. The Library curated helpful collections with students in mind, such as Sunshine State Books, Book Club Kits, the Choose Your Own Adventure series, and audio and eBook versions of reading list titles. Osceola students checked out nearly 13,000 items from the Library using their OLL Access Pass, including books, eBooks, audiobooks and DVDs. Making its debut in October 2021, the OLL Access Pass has been very successful in encouraging students to use the Library’s resources for reading, research, learning and fun. This opened up the wealth of respected and engaging online resources to students. The innovative student library card program enabled all Osceola School District students to receive special library access with the Osceola Library Link (OLL) Access Pass using their student ID number. Students under 16 must have a parent or guardian present. Anyone without a full-service library card is encouraged to visit a branch location of the Osceola Library System to sign up for a library card. If a student has both an OLL Access Pass and a full-service library card, only the OLL Access Pass will be deleted. Please return any overdue or outstanding materials to a library branch as soon as possible. Accounts with lost or overdue items will be blocked from further checkouts. ![]() OLL Access Passes will be deleted from our patron database by November 2, 2023, unless there are lost or overdue materials checked out on the account. At the request of the School Board of Osceola County, the Osceola Library System is discontinuing the student library card program, OLL Access Pass.
